Which one Movable-Type or WordPress?

I don’t want to change it. But I want to discuss it here (well for a good reason). I have a recently made a website for an organization , and I used the WordPress software. WordPress is mostly famous for it’s simple usage, and a lot of other features. WordPress uses PHP. And Movable-Type uses Perl. Which I think both is great. I have heard a lot of praises about WordPress as well as Movable type. PHP is great for making dynamic websites which I don’t want that much color and stuff for future. Movable type is great for it’s little options and features. I have to say something here (no offend to you WordPress) Movable type is more simple to use than WordPress. It is a great option for self-hosted bloggers. Like this one. Which I like it. But I am not making the decision here. Because let’s see  what wins in my mind. From one side I really like to give movable type a try. Which I have done here for temporary use. And I see that many famous news services uses Movable type. Such as Huffington Post and Taking Points Memo. Which I still don’t care about. All I want to see is that I should make a right decision here.

Some times I say I should go with my heart, but again I say that is like making a move on a dangerous place. My heart says Movable Type. What do you say?

I run a company that provides people with Movable Type technical support. You may think I’m biased toward the tool I use the most, but the truth is that we live in a multi-platform world.

My company works with customers who use both WordPress and Movable Type. Both products are really pretty good, but there are subtle differences between the two which keep me working mainly on WordPress.

Over the years WordPress has had a lot more reported vulnerabilities with its core than Movable Type has. But the hidden vulnerability risks are in themes and plugins. If you don’t follow websites that publish news from the WordPress and web publishing communities, these vulnerabilities can go unpatched. Unpatched vulnerabilities in a WordPress application stack are often exploited.

We often clean up embarrassing messes for customers and give them a fresh start on a different platform. We don’t go looking for this work, it tends to find us.

I think both products can be maintained effectively, with careful research and well-timed work. But I think Movable Type is the lower cost platform overall, because of the relative ease with which it is maintained and because static publishing scales better than dynamic publishing does in a lot of web publishing applications.

    Good luck,

certainly like your web site however you have to check the spelling on several of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling problems and I in finding it very troublesome to inform the truth then again I’ll definitely come again again.
